A Virtual Youth Hack on Positive Masculinity by the Youth Collective Network
Through the Youth Connect, British Council Funded project called What it means to be a young man today, Young boys and men in Nepal and the UK are challenging stereotypes and redefining what it means to be masculine. At a time when many young men face pressure from patriarchal gender norms, and are often excluded from shaping solutions, they are building positive identities that promote gender equality instead of reinforcing inequality.
In this dynamic virtual Youth Hack, we unite Positive Masculinity Champions from Nepal and the UK, Youth Collective members, funders, and partners to reimagine masculinity as a means to achieving gender equality. Using youth-led dialogue and collaborative problem solving, the event will highlight proven approaches, unpack challenges, and amplify youth-driven innovations reshaping what masculinity means today.
